Unlike his opponent, J. Paul Brown, McLachlan is from a military family and is a veteran of Vietnam – he knows and fully understands the full power of guns and why we need smart gun laws. I was happy and proud to see a federal judge uphold Colorado’s gun-safety laws. McLachlan’s support of the laws was the right decision for our district, and it was confirmed by the federal ruling.

His support for common-sense gun safety is just one of the many reasons why he’s earned my vote in November. He’s an effective voice in the Legislature because he has the respect of those who represent both urban and rural areas of our state. He is a voice of reason for sportsmen, women and the Western Slope.

Let’s send Representative Mike McLachlan back to Denver this November!
