Starting this 2016-17 school year, AHS students in grades 9-12 will be able to chose from a variety of new offerings allowing student choice right at the beginning of high school. A sample of electives include: creative writing, psychology, world religions, journalism, yearbook, advanced chemistry, astronomy, anatomy, music, advanced digital arts, studio art, environmental science, advanced physics, math foundations, advanced algebra, pre-calculus, calculus 1, calculus 2, consumer math and Spanish 1 through 4.
At the same time, every student will have completed the required coursework to attend any college in Colorado and beyond. AHS is committed to offering student choice and personalization within a college-preparatory environment.
