If schools taught unrevised history, the citizens would know what was being wrested from them and thus would hinder the cause of aspiring rulers. Having become a student of history about 23 years ago, it’s apparent that government exists to grow itself on the backs of the people, its mandates disguised as “security.”
Thanks to the heresy taught in schools, the nation is full of “useful idiots,” to quote Karl Marx. I’ve repeatedly encouraged those on the left to read the two books penned by Barack Obama.
Rep. Mike McLachlan, in a packed library, swore not to vote for more Second Amendment restrictions. As an interesting aside, two black Democratic police chiefs have firmly supported the right of citizens to defend themselves. One even had the audacity to say out loud that where there were armed citizens, the crime rate was lower. We, as citizens, should not be denied the same firepower carried by criminals. Oddly, they don’t obey laws.
When our present sheriff began issuing concealed-carry permits, the Herald bemoaned that the streets of Durango would be like the O.K. Corral! The Second Amendment is purposefully twisted by those who want to dominate. Think about it in November when you choose your representative.
