The section of road will be resurfaced, striped and signed. Work is estimated to be completed by late November.
The project will also include updates to 3,000 feet of guardrail along the south side of Highway 184, near Narraguinnep Reservoir.
Motorists can expect single-lane closures from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays to Fridays from May 8 to Nov. 30. Occasional Saturday work may occur to expedite completion of the project. All business access will remain open.
Drivers are asked to be cautious in work areas and watch for speed-limit changes.
