Andrew Jackson, who is pictured on the $20 bill was, as the Herald rightly noted, something of a scoundrel and racist, so replacing his likeness with some woman’s likeness would arguably be more righteous. It also should be noted that Jackson was the founder of the Democratic Party, so he is doubly a scoundrel. It was southern Democrats that were the power behind the secession from the United States, and it was southern Democrats who waved the Confederate battle flag against the Republican President, Abraham Lincoln. So it would only be fitting if Jackson’s legacy is removed from the $20 bill for politically correct reasons, sold down the river by his own party, the Democrats.
