He is no longer an officer, and my point is “been there, done that,” and I, too, lied to protect him. I filed police reports against him, only to back out and lie for him again: typical battered wife/girlfriend syndrome. This is why many states now have laws to take the prosecution of the abuser out of the hands of the victim and in the hands of the prosecutors.

I have read the police reports from 1989 and 1990 and have seen mention of other reports. If we are to believe Schirard and his ex-wives, the Schirard Family, then all law-enforcement officers who did these reports, the dispatchers who took these calls and spoke with the officers were all liars at different times and over a period of time. Are we to believe that all of these people sat in a room, came up with the idea of filing false police reports and lie about Schirard and not only file these false reports, but do it over a period of time? Quite a conspiracy theory. I am sorry, but I don’t buy this for a second, and I don’t believe others will either.
