Julie Holligan Westendorff, in particular, has shown invaluable leadership and consensus building skills in her term as a La Plata County commissioner. Her diverse background as a Bayfield magistrate, attorney, Southern Ute tribal prosecutor, and real estate professional makes her uniquely qualified to tackle the complex issues of our diverse county.
She has worked tirelessly to stay well informed on these many issues and to listen to all of her constituents, holding regular office hours in Bayfield.
Julie has worked very well with her fellow commissioners and La Plata county staff, as well. We would all be well served by Julie’s continued great work for our wonderful county!
