Berman can do just that and has been. There is no question that alternative energy can’t totally replace fossil fuels, but we can reduce them with Berman’s help on the LPEA board, so that some day, we all won’t have to live next to some of the highest-polluting power plants in the United States. Obviously, Berman, or any other board member, can’t directly change the pollution of these neighboring plants, but if they do their small share, and other electric co-ops do the same, then a difference can be made. Berman is one who can help in one of those small steps if reelected to the LPEA board.
