I had waited two months to view this film. During the final scenes of the film, the people in the row in front of me were talking and making noises aloud in reaction to the climax of the film. I was totally taken out of the interactive space of communication with the filmmaker by this distraction. I tapped the person’s chair with my foot and told him to be quiet. In doing so, I also disturbed the people surrounding me and at that point became as much a disturber as those who disturbed me.

So I apologize for my action. I was later to learn that the person talking was mentally disadvantaged, too. I would have gladly cut him some slack had I known.

To all involved: Please accept my heartfelt apology.
