Taking their first turn on the track Saturday morning are, from left, Ruth Holcomb, Stella James, Ethan Craig, Mason James and Carter Kileen. The Coke Race, sponsored by Coca-Cola and held at the Nordic Center at Purgatory, is a “poker run” in which participants collect one card each time they start a new lap. Whoever has the best poker hand at the end of the race is the winner.
