A big thanks goes out to our volunteers who prepared and served dinner and our cookie bakers who provided a wide selection to satisfy a sweet tooth. Brenda’s Café donated the cornbread and The Grocery Store gave bags of ice to cool off the lemonade and water we offered.

It takes a lot of time and energy behind the scene to set up, sell tickets, advertise and then clean up. Without our volunteer members, this wouldn’t be possible and a special thanks goes out to all of them!

The season for the museum starts on the last Saturday in May and ends with Heritage Days in late September. We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will host groups upon request to accommodate different schedules. Admission is free, but your generous donations help to keep the lights on. We had over 800 visitors this season, some as far away as Scotland and the UK!

We encourage locals to spread the word and come for a visit next season and experience a step back in time.
