All three of Durangos’ Rotary clubs are supporting this project. In 2005, May started VAP at FLC, which originally was called Engineers Without Borders. Since then, involved students have completed nearly 40 water and sanitation projects in five countries.
May is a professor of engineering at FLC who received his Ph. D. in civil engineering from Colorado State University in hydraulics and hydrology. He has been teaching at FLC since 1984.
