Also, thanks to Doreen Hunter (Opinion, Herald, July 28) for shining a light on a glaring lack of equity in our country even today in 2013. Bias and our prejudice does not allow us to transcend to the highest good of who we are. Awareness of our flaws gives us guidance to grow. Also, Gene Pollcinski’s commentary (Opinion, Herald, July 28) about the threat of fear to our freedom is all too true. Fear is the greatest enemy to our freedom.
A Course of Miracles says that where there is love there can be no fear. So let us learn to love more and watch our fear disappear.
Unfortunately, I do not appreciate the political ads with biased messages that are placed on your Internet pages. They only create separation and fear – otherwise, great job.
