This year, it started off with 500 white fir trees that were cut from the forest at Beaver Meadows east of Durango and 500 balsam fir trees from Wisconsin. The money raised from sales goes to education and stewardship programs and is the biggest fundraiser of the year for SJMA. Wreaths made by staff members, volunteers and local artisans are also available.
