Students in Mary Lewin’s second grade class at Bayfield Primary School ride Strider bicycles on Thursday at the playground. As a reward for good behavior and encouragement outside the physical education curriculum, students get to spend class time on the 24 bikes. The Striders were purchased from Wheelie Cool, with grant money from the Bayfield Harris Fund. The school plans to build a pump track in the near future. (Jerry McBride/Durango Herald)
