The season of the shovel returns to Durango Tuesday morning as Jean-Pierre Bleger clears the sidewalk in front of his Jean-Pierre Bakery at the corner of Main Avenue and College Drive. A couple of inches of snow accumulated overnight in Durango, but the forecast for the rest of the day calls for sunny skies and only a slight chance of isolated snow showers. Temperatures though, are expected to dip into the low to mid teens overnight for the rest of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
