Rain showers soaked much of La Plata County on Monday night and Tuesday morning, catching some people off guard, such as Erica Delarosa, who forgot her umbrella on the way to work. Rainy skies are expected to give way to partially cloudy skies Wednesday and mostly clear skies later this week.
