Perhaps in the true fashion of liberalism, we should also equally restrict cyclists. Perhaps as Mehan suggests, form a group to urge the City Council to enforce bicycle safety. Law enforcement has far better things to do. City Council does not want to shut this city down or turn away tourists. By my own choice, when a large cycle event takes place in our region, I stay inside or leave town. Perhaps parade-haters should consider that option.
