Our country is facing one of the most dangerous moments in its modern history. Every day, we seem to drift further from the democratic principles that have guided us for generations. The stakes could not be higher, and this is no time to weaken our team by moving proven leaders out of the roles where they are most effective.

In 2026, that means keeping Colorado’s senior senator in Washington, where he is only halfway through his current term and has developed the experience, relationships and influence needed to fight for Colorado and defend our democracy. At the same time, it means electing Phil Weiser as Colorado’s next governor. Weiser has spent the past eight years standing up for Coloradans and challenging abuses of power, particularly those coming from the Trump administration. Because he is term-limited, he is uniquely positioned to bring his proven leadership, legal expertise and commitment to service to the governor’s office. He is prepared to help shield Colorado from the harmful consequences of federal overreach and to continue protecting the freedoms of all Coloradans.

It’s the moment for putting our strongest leaders where they can do the greatest good. By keeping our senior senator in the Senate and electing Phil Weiser as governor, we can benefit from the experience, skills and dedication of both men. Colorado needs its best players on the field – and in the positions where they can make the biggest difference.
