He can dish it out, too.

Like the professional boxer and his professional NFL linebacker of a son, Gary Norton has compiled quite the Gridiron Green résumé in 2013.

He has six weeks of double-digit victories, including a pair of 11s in Week 2 and Week 8. Only this 11 net the Durangoan a Week 10 victory, just one point ahead of Week 8 winner “clarkbar” and five others.

It was a tough week, too.

Five of our previous Gridiron Green champions languished at .500 in Week 10, including this Gridiron Guru.

My one redeeming quality from my 7-7 was picking the Buccaneers to get off the schneid against the Dolphins.

Fire another cannon, Tampa.

A special shout-out to our overall Gridiron Green leader and his “one smart Cocker Spaniel” – Mr. Bojangles. The man behind the dog was one of those Week 10 10s and has an aggregate 103 points, two points ahead of our current runner-up.

Week 11

Bye: Dallas, St. Louis.

Baltimore at Chicago – I still don’t trust the defending champion. Pick: Bears, 16-14. Line: Bears by 3.

N.Y. Jets at Buffalo – Geno Smith at EJ Manuel. Smith. Pick: Jets, 20-19. Line: Bills by 1.

Atlanta at Tampa Bay – With the way the Falcons are playing, the Bucs could make it two in a row. Pick: Buccaneers, 20-16. Line: Falcons by 1.

Detroit at Pittsburgh – The Lions have too much roar for these Steelers. Pick: Lions, 24-17. Line: Lions by 2.

Washington at Philadelphia (KASA) – Somebody lit the coals under Foles. Pick: Eagles, 27-24. Line: Eagles by 3½.

San Diego at Miami (KCNC, KREZ) – It’s only going to get worse before it gets better in South Beach. Pick: Chargers, 26-13. Line: Chargers by 1.

Minnesota at Seattle – Vikings right the ship, then they have to row up the Sound against The 12th Man. Pick: Seahawks, 24-13. Line: Seahawks by 13½.

San Francisco at New Orleans (KASA) – It’s D vs. O, only the Niners’ O is suffering, and the Saints’ D isn’t half bad. Pick: Saints, 27-20. Line: Saints by 3.

Green Bay at N.Y. Giants – It’s high time for Manning and Co. to step up. Pick: Giants, 23-13. Line: Giants by 6½.

Kansas City at Denver (KOBF, KUSA; KRSJ 100.5 FM) – No head coach. A hobbled quarterback. A sack-happy defense. And an Andy Reid team off the bye. Pick: Chiefs, 21-14. Line: Broncos by 8.

Monday, Nov. 18

New England at Carolina (ESPN) – The Patriots are no stranger to MNF. Pick: Patriots, 17-13. Line: Panthers by 2½.
