NO on sales tax hike is responsible

Several of the candidates are against the proposed sales tax increase.

Previous council members were from the education crowd that begs for more money every chance they get. They usually got what they asked for, so it is understandable that they can’t deal with rational voters denying their requests.

As voters, let’s do what is good for Durango. Voting against the 1A sales tax increase is good for Durango. Voting for candidates that can fix our budget without the sales tax increase is good for Durango.

Let’s vote smart this election: NO on 1A, YES on responsible candidates.
