Monday was 'Grandfriend Day' at Bayfield Elementary School. Lots of grandparents, family friends, and other family members came to the primary school to share their love of reading with students. Mom Lona Nopah reads to her son, Richard Ameel Yenah, and first-grade classmate Gabriel Price. Their teacher, Elizabeth Bauer, said the boys listened to the book about frogs, then used the subject matter in their expository writing practice.
