Artwork is encouraged and may be dropped off with theme submissions at the La Plata County Extension Office at the fairgrounds or mailed to: La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave., Durango 81301.
Label submissions with a name, mailing address and telephone number. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. Feb. 27. The winner of the chosen entry will receive a $100 cash prize.
The 2020 La Plata County Fair will be held Aug. 5-9 at the fairgrounds. The five-day event will feature a carnival, displays, exhibits, livestock auction, demolition derby, dancing, food and more.
