The event will feature a selection Weston Backcountry splitboards, and participants may demo bindings from Spark R&D, climbing skins from Pomoca and Black Diamond and ski packs from Osprey.
Splitboards are a type of snowboard designed specifically for backcountry touring. The board “splits” in half, converting into skis for uphill travel.
The event will feature a 30-minute Splitboard Touring clinic with Jack Klim of Kling Mountain Guides. Backcountry Experience will provide hot cocoa and soup for participants.
