The budget includes a $3 million increase in revenue to update LPEA’s aging electricity infrastructure, improve customer service and support, and prepare for the future of the electric grid.
In January, the board will meet to consider various options for achieving the needed revenue increase, while minimizing cost impact to its members. LPEA’s last rate increase was in 2016.
