The construction area above Whitewater Park will be closed to all boating activity and river use during the construction process. The Animas River Trail through Whitewater Park at Santa Rita is expected to remain open during the construction project. Traffic control will be in place to allow for construction equipment to cross the trail. Trail users may experience minor delays.
