Tuesday morning’s cold temperatures and calm winds kept smoke from a controlled burn lingering in the Animas Valley north of Durango. But you can expect the chill to linger. The low this morning in Durango was expected to be minus 13, with a high of 28 today, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasted highs are 29 for Thursday, 31 for Friday and 30 for Saturday.
