Participants will meet in the Rapp Corral parking area and join wildlife expert Professor Sylvester Allred for a snowshoe hike to learn about the tassel-eared, or Abert’s, squirrel.

Cost is $10 for nonmembers, and free for Durango Nature Studies members and kids 12 and under.

Participants can rent snowshoes for $5.
