Heritage Days is held the last weekend of September and celebrates the valley’s agricultural heritage and the changing of the seasons. The Brown family sheep herds were continuing to trail on the area’s roads this week. Area sheep ranchers ask drivers to slow down and drive carefully when they encounter flocks on the state’s roads. Under Colorado law, livestock has the right of way on all roads in the state.
