The meeting is open to all rail enthusiasts and will include presentations about the Durango Historical Society, the Rio Grande Southern and Denver and Rio Grande Western railroads, chrysolite metals and mill-model structure, resin-casting custom parts, and using a digital controller to “program” models’ motor, lighting and sound features. A favorite train contest and “From the Workbench,” an opportunity for modelers to showcase and discuss their current projects, will be offered, and attendees will updates on the Rocky Mountain Region Convention, scheduled for June in Durango, will be given.
