Chief Master Sergeant William C. Meyer will retire from the United States Air Force after serving more than 30 years.
Meyer is the son of Lil and Wade Anderson of Emmett, Idaho, and the late William Meyer. He spent his school years in Durango and graduated from Durango High School in 1982. In school, he was a member of the high school rodeo team, FFA, band and a 4-H member. While serving in the Air Force, Meyer earned his college degree. He served in many campaigns, as well as being stationed in Europe for several years.
Meyer and his wife, Jennifer, currently life in Montana and are making plans for what comes after retirement.
