Participants of the program will learn evidence-based skills that will help them follow a healthy lifestyle focused on nutrition, physical activity, stress reduction, and coping with change-related challenges.
To be eligible for the program, participants must be 18 or older and meet at least one of the following criteria: be overweight or obese; been diagnosed with prediabetes; been previously diagnosed with gestational diabetes; or score a 5 or higher on the American Diabetes Association scoring tool.
The program will be led by two of Mercy’s certified diabetes educators who combined have more than two decades of experience in nutrition counseling and diabetes education.
