McHenry lives in Durango for all the right reasons. Over the years we’ve hiked, biked, skied, backpacked, camped and mountain-biked all over the Four Corners. Like many of us who have been able to stay in Durango over the long haul, McHenry and his family have made a lot of sacrifices to be able to live here.

McHenry is a stand-up guy who follows through with what he says he will do. He is an independent thinker who is willing to set aside his own personal agenda and listen to the residents of neighborhoods and represent the interests of his constituency – people such as myself.

As the city wrestles with many competing financial demands, we need someone who is reasonable with creative ideas and fiscally responsible to ensure that our children will be able to afford to live and raise their families in Durango as we have done.
