Matt Knickerbocker and Olivia Gettman were honored by the Durango Masonic Lodge as the outstanding junior girl and boy at a recent award ceremony. Also honored were Dynesha Drake and Tyler Riepel of Ignacio. Outstanding La Plata County teacher awards were given to Tyson Wood of Ignacio High School and Maria Samora of Ignacio Middle School.
