A traditional luau meal will be served, including kaula pork, shoyu chicken, shrimp rice, cole slaw, plain rice, fresh fruit and dessert and beverages. The Sleeping Ukes from Cortez and Hawaiian dancers will provide entertainment.
A demonstration about how to prepare kaula pork and shoyu chicken will also be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the grange. If time permits, participants will also be shown how to make a lei out of ti leaves.
