Vallecito Lake and Navajo Lake both allow motorboats and a wide range of recreational opportunities for all to enjoy. I would very much like Lake Nighthorse to provide a more peaceful and tranquil alternative with minimal commercialization: No gasoline-powered boats of any kind (electric propulsion is fine), tent camping areas (no RVs), picnic and swimming areas and an off-leash dog area. Hiking, biking, snowshoe and cross-country skiing areas should be provided. Minimal roads deep into the park.

There are currently no large lakes nearby that provide these kinds of peaceful recreational opportunities and I hope you will provide this essential alternative to our residents.
