Giants CB Amukamara out with biceps injury

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) – Cornerback Prince Amukamara left the New York Giants’ game against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night with a biceps injury.

Amukamara, their top cover cornerback, was hurt in the first half. New York then lost rookie left guard Weston Richburg to a left ankle injury in the third quarter.

Amukamara has three interceptions this season, tied with Antrel Rolle for the team lead. He had three career interceptions coming into the season.

Amukamara was selected in the first round of the 2011 draft. The only full season he has played for New York was last year.

Richburg, a second-round pick, had started every game. He was carted off and the Giants announced he would not return.

Colts defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois hurt a finger in the opening half.
