The Pagosa Springs Plant and Garden Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the County Extension Office, Colorado Highway 84 South in Pagosa Springs.
Admission to the show is free. Two $50 cash door prizes will be available. Expert gardening advice will be available, and Archuleta 4-H will provide concessions and a bake sale.
Storm sewer drain to be installed
The city of Durango Street Department working in conjunction with S&S Construction will begin installation of a new storm sewer drain at 13th Street and Main Avenue on Tuesday.
The four-week construction project will close access to 13th Street from Main Avenue and one lane of the northbound and the southbound traffic of Main Avenue.
Traffic control and detours will be in place during the construction, and delays should be expected.

Beekeepers association to meet April 21
The 4 Corners Beekeepers Association will meet at 6 p.m. April 21 at Florida Baptist Church, on U.S. Highway 160 just before the turn off to Colorado Highway 172 at Elmore’s Corner.
The guest speaker will be from Bear Smart Durango.
Participants will learn how to keep bees safe from bears.
Annual spaghetti dinner to be held
The 40th annual Spaghetti Dinner will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. April 26 at Sacred Heart Parish Hall, 254 East Fifth Ave.
The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 7 to 12 and children 6 and younger eat free.
The menu will include spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, drinks and pizzelli cookies.
Colorado Parks, Wildlife seeks volunteers
Colorado Parks & Wildlife is seeking volunteers to host the Wildlife Museum adjacent to the fish hatchery beginning May 15 and running through Sept. 15.
A commitment of only a few days during the season are needed. Educational training regarding the hatchery functions and the animals in the museum will be provided.
