Healing Circle of Love Fellowship to meet

Healing Circle of Love Fellowship will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Windom Room of the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.

Participants will experience the essence of their true self and the backing of Spirit in a healing circle of love and joy. Through healing techniques, sharing and singing, people will refresh their energy and their being as a soul experiencing life on Earth. There is no charge for attending.

Trance Healing Tables will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Sunlight Room of the rec center. Participants will experience their innate soul essence, heal and release the past and experience how healing energy flows. People should come 15 minutes early to register for a clear channel healing. The cost is $20.

The Durango Parkinson’s Education Group will meet from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church, 2917 Aspen Drive.

The guest speaker will be from the Cloud 9 Sleep Center to discuss sleep disorders associated with Parkinson’s Disease.

Club 20 to host community meeting

Club 20 will host a community meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday at La Plata Electric Association, 45 Stewart St.

Club 20 is a nonpartisan coalition with individual, business and local government members from 22 counties on the Western Slope working together to develop polices that positively promote Western Colorado. Participants will learn about Club 20 advocacy efforts, how to keep on top of issues critical to the Western Slope and how to add to shaping the future of western Colorado.

Trails 2000 to host trail work

Trails 2000 will host trail work from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday on Mike’s Trail.

Volunteers should meet at Horse Gulch Trailhead and are encouraged to cycle in to the work site because of distance. No experience is necessary. Trails 2000 will bring tools, provide gloves, give a safety/instructional tool talk, and provide water and snacks. Volunteers should wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, closed-toe shoes, sun hat, sunscreen, and bring a water bottle and rain jacket.
