DAC to host Snowdown follies for kids

The 2015 Kid’s Snowdown Follies: Steampunk Style shows will take place at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 28-29 at the Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave.

The event will feature more than 20 acts performed by children ages 8 to 18.

The cost is $8 for center members and children ages 12 and younger and $10 for general admission.

Death with Dignity Bill to be discussed

Roland Halpern of the Colorado Chapter of Compassion and Choices will speak at the Life Long Learning Forum on Jan. 29.

Halpern will address the work of Compassion and Choices and specifically the Death with Dignity Bill now being introduced in Colorado’s current legislative session.

Life Long Learning will meet at 7 p.m. in Noble Hall Room 130 at Fort Lewis College. The lectures are free and new attendees are welcome.
