The Durango High Noon Rotary Club will meet from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino del Rio.
Shelley Walchak will give a talk called “Fly Fishing the (Entire) USA.”
The meetings are open to the public. The cost for lunch is $15.
Durango Bird Club to meet Thursday
Durango Bird Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Education and Visitors Center, 151 E. 16th St.
Everyone is welcome for a short business meeting and a sharing time for stories, pictures, and trip tales.

Ground Hog Supper to be held Feb. 7
The Marvel United Methodist Church will host the 47th annual Ground Hog Supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Marvel Grange Hall, 217 County Road 133A in Marvel.
The menu will include ground hog (sausage), potatoes, coleslaw, rolls, cake and beverages.
Suggested donations are $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 and younger, or $25 per family.
Proceeds will go to the church’s building and outreach funds.
Young wrestlers invited to dinner
The Ignacio Wrestling Family invites all surrounding 2015 wrestlers ages 5 to 14 to a spaghetti dinner at 6 p.m. Feb. 4 at Ignacio Middle School.
Registration and a parent meeting will follow the dinner.

Badly Bent to benefit Bayfield music
Bayfield Association for the Advancement of Music (BAAM) will host a Valentine’s concert starring the bluegrass band Badly Bent on Feb. 13 at the new performing arts center at Bayfield High School.
This concert is a fundraiser for the Instrument Drive. The music department needs new instruments.
The cost is $12 per person or $20 per couple. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at Bottom Shelf Brewery, Tuning Fork, the BHS office and from BHS music students or by calling 884-9900.
Free legal clinic available in Ignacio
A free legal clinic for people who do not have an attorney, will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on the second Friday of each month at Ignacio Community Library, 470 Goddard Ave.
By computer link, volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms and explain the processes and procedures for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues and civil protection orders.
