The Durango FFA Chapter will have a fundraiser from 6 p.m. to midnight Feb. 14 at the Breen Community Building in Breen.
The evening will feature a dinner, dance and pie auction. Serious Texas Bar-B-Q will provide dinner. Music will be provided by Wild Country.
The cost is $8 for the dinner, $5 for the dance or $10 for both.

Marijuana Licensing Authority seeks 3
The La Plata County Board of County Commissioners seeks interested members of the community to serve on its Marijuana Local Licensing Authority.
The authority consists of three members who are appointed to issue medical marijuana center licenses, medical marijuana optional premises cultivation operation licenses, medical marijuana-infused products manufacturer licenses, retail marijuana store licenses, retail marijuana cultivation facility licenses, retail marijuana products manufacturing facility licenses and retail marijuana testing facility licenses.
Duties include presiding over public hearings, making determinations and taking administrative actions related to license issuance, enforcement, suspension, revocation, renewal, transfer and modification.
This position is not monetarily compensated. CDOT announces maintenance project
The Colorado Department of Transportation announced construction and maintenance work will be done on Colorado Highway 90 eastbound and westbound over the Dolores River in Bedrock (mile marker 15), 24 hours a day, now through May.
There will be one-lane alternating traffic, with traffic signal control. No oversized or overweight loads will be allowed.
Barbershoppers offer Singing Valentines
The Durango Barbershoppers are offering Singing Valentines, to be delivered Feb. 13-14.
Singing Valentines can be purchased for $50 and includes two songs, a carnation and a small box of chocolates. A barbershop quartet will be sent anywhere in La Plata County to serenade your Valentine and deliver the flower and chocolates. A portion of the proceeds will go to support vocal music programs in local schools.
