Seasons to host fundraiser responders
Seasons Rotisserie & Grill will host the sixth annual “Burning Down the House” benefit from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Feb. 22.
Proceeds from the benefit will go to Durango’s emergency responders through the 100 Club.
The event has been organized each year as a thank-you to the Durango Fire & Rescue Authority and its personnel who responded to the fire in the 700 block of Main Avenue in February 2008.
Proceeds from beverage and food sales will be presented to the not-for-profit 100 Club following the event. The 100 Club’s mission is to provide financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty and to provide resources to enhance their safety and welfare.
Durango Fire & Rescue, which will station a fire truck on Main in front of Seasons, will resume its tradition to decorate the restaurant for the event and will have all details seen to – including the now favorite party favors: fire extinguisher squirt guns.
Dinner reservations are required, and space is limited. Visit www.seasonsofdurango.com for event information or call 382-9790 for reservations.
