A mindful parenting class taught by Rachel Turiel and Joy Kilpatrick will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Sun Room of Inhabit, 1970 East Third Ave., Suite 101.
This class is offered by donation.
Florida Grange to dig its hands in the dirt
The Florida Grange will host a gardening class from 1 to 4 p.m. June 27 at the Grange Hall, 656 Colorado Highway 172.
The class will cover companion gardening, trelissing, fertilizing, mulching and insect control without poisons. There will be no fee for the class, although donations will be accepted to cover cost of handouts.
Trails 2000 invites the public to trail work
Trails 2000 will host a public trail work day from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday on Zipline Trail.
No experience is necessary. Trails 2000 will provide the tools, gloves, safety/instructional tool talk, water and snacks. Participants should meet at Horse Gulch Trailhead. Volunteers should wear long pants, long-sleeved shirt, closed-toe shoes, sun hat, sunscreen and bring a water bottle and rain jacket.
