The Pine River Library will host a Toy Exchange from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive in Bayfield.

The library invites community members to bring clean, complete toys or games their children no longer play with and swap with other parents.

Improvement district to hold meeting Dec. 8

The La Plata County Palo Verde Public Improvement District No. 3 board will hold a special business meeting at 1 p.m. Dec. 8 to consider the following:

Consideration of Resolution No PID3-2015-01 Palo Verde Public Improvement District 2016 budget

Consideration of Resolution No. PID3-2015-02 appropriation of sums of money for the PID3 2016 budget.

Consideration of Resolution No. PID3-2015-03 certifying mill levy for 2015 property tax paid in 2016.

This meeting will be held in the board room of the La Plata County Administration Building, 1101 East Second Ave.
