Euchre tournament to be held Wednesday

A euchre tournament will take place Wednesday at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4031, 1550 Main Ave.

Radon informational classes to be held

A radon informational class will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Animas Room in the Extension Building at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.

The topic will be radon and what to do with the information after a home has been tested. Classes will also be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Feb. 9, from 1 to 2: p.m. Feb. 16,, and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26. All classes will be held in the Animas Room. Classes are free, and a limited number of radon screening tool kits will be available free of charge for those who have pre-registered for the class at least three days in advance.
