Luau at Marvel Grange announced

The Marvel Grange is hosting a luau at 6 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Marvel Grange, 217 County Road 133A.

RSVPs are appreciated by Feb. 22 in order to plan food. The luau will include kalua pork, shoyu chicken, rice, oriental cabbage salad, dessert and beverages. Some entertainment will be provided.

Winter Bike to Work Day coming up

The city of Durango’s Multi Modal division is hosting the 2016 Winter Bike to Work Day from 7 to 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26.

Participants should meet on Main Avenue in front of Durango Coffee Company to celebrate sustainable transportation in the community!

There will be free breakfast snacks, coffee and tea. Trails 2000 will be on site, and the city will offer free bike registration, discounted bus passes and raffle prizes.
