Democratic caucuses to be held March 1
Colorado counties, including La Plata, will hold caucuses at 7 p.m. on Super Tuesday, March 1.
These are small, neighborhood political gatherings across the state held to begin determining Colorado’s nominee for president, Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders.
This is the first and only formal “make or break” step for Colorado citizens to vote in a preference poll for Clinton or Sanders. Only people already registered to the Democratic Party are allowed to caucus with the Democrats.
Everyone is welcome to attend, registered or not.
To find your precinct number and caucus location, visit www. LaPlataDems.org or call 382-6280 or 247-4019.
