Mountain Bike Specialists, 949 Main Ave., will host a free maintenance clinic from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Darian Harvey, service manager and former downhill racer, will talk about care and cleaning of bikes, greasing the chain, how to fix a flat and how to tell when bikes need professional attention for a more comfortable ride.
The same class will be offered March 23.

Speakers to discuss stormwater plans
The Animas Watershed Partnerships Quarterly Forum will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at San Juan College, 5301 College Blvd., Farmington.
The speakers will be Toni Sitta of Farmington and Kevin Hall from Durango. They will present information about stormwater plans, challenges and successes.
Ty Churchwell will talk about the San Juan Clean Water Coalition and Good Samaritan legislation.
Learn to line dance at the senior center
Two line dancing classes will be offered Thursdays at the Durango/La Plata Senior Center, 2424 Main Ave.
A new session will begin Thursday. A beginning class will be held at 1:30 p.m. and a traditional class at 2:30 p.m.
New students are encouraged to commit to the first eight weeks to build a foundation of steps.
