Thanks goes to Michele Redding, owner of the Animas City Theatre, for seeing that Durango is one of many cities around the world with showings. Michele’s persistent efforts have paid off – thus my public statement of gratitude.

Plays have already been shown and more are scheduled at 11 am on select Saturdays. When attending the plays “Skylight” and “Frankenstein,” I was engrossed and felt transported to live theater in London.

Many of us already enjoy live theater in Durango thanks to Durango Arts Center Theatre and Applause, Durango High School Troupe 1096, Durango Lively Arts, Fort Lewis College Theatre and Merely Players (a company of Imaginary Friends).

Thanks again to Redding for this rich addition. It’s a good thing tickets are available online. I have a feeling there will be sell-out crowds for these productions.
